Immanuel Approach Prayer
Immanuel Approach for life is learning to live in the reality that God is always with us. He never leaves us, is always glad to be with us, and desires to help us know Him and live in relationship with Him. Immanuel Approach prayer aligns with biblical teachings of how to approach God. It utilizes modern neuroscience principles supported by scripture to experience awareness of the Lord's living presence and receive His healing and resolution from pain and trauma. Experiencing the Lord's presence builds intimacy with Him and the capacity to live life abundantly. The steps of Immanuel Approach Prayer follow Philippians 4:4-7, "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."What to Expect in a session:
A trained facilitator guides recipients through the process, offering support and attunement.
1. Quiet your heart and mind and invite the Lord to lead. (Ps. 46:10, "Be still and know (experience) that I am God.”)
2. Remember and give thanks for a positive memory (Ps. 95:2, "Let us come before him with thanksgiving.”)
3. Invite the Lord to bring awareness of His presence (Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave you nor forsake you.”)
4. Listen and respond to His living word, which brings peace to our hearts and minds. (Jer. 33:3a, "Call to me and I will answer you," James 4:8a, "Come near to God, and he will come near to you.")Throughout the prayer session, the facilitator will help you focus on the Lord, receive from Him, and offer help and encouragement if you feel stuck.
Splankna
"The word Splankna is Greek for 'gut or bowels.' In Hebraic and Greek culture and language, it was understood that the guts were the seat of emotion. It is connected to our subconscious - that deep sense of 'knowing' within our gut. This word is often translated as 'compassion' or 'mercy.'
"The body holds emotions like frequencies. Splankna clears emotions out of the body with the combination of touch and thought. Then it helps people identify the destructive lies and vows associated with the traumas and clear them out in prayer."
